I don't really fit in a laundry basket, but I do love to read with my shoes off and my feet up on the couch. How about you? Do you have a favorite spot that allows you to immerse yourself in a book?

Spy Spaceship?
During the past week as a Chinese spy balloon was seen high up in the sky passing over the United States and later shot down over the waters of South Carolina, I thought of this photo I took last year. If it was a ship and not just an unusual cloud formation, it never landed or attacked (to my knowledge), but maybe they were just bringing surveillance back to their home planet. What do you think?

Thinking About Wings
I'm working on book two of my Chronicles of Nadavir series which takes place mostly in the land of Pixiandria. It's a world where pixie faeries flit, soar, swoop, and fly everywhere, so my mind is focused on wings. The wings on the pixies of Pixiandria match their spirit insects. Ping the faery has the wings of a butterfly, but her aunt's wings are similar to a dragonfly. Birds also play a major role in this second book with the working title of Ping's Mystery in Pixiandria.
If you could fly, what kind of wings would you love to have?
