1888 Reading Couch

I want one of these! The lady looks like she's sleeping, but I fall asleep reading all the time. This is "John Carter's Reading Machine" with a lamp, table, & adjustable couch from 1888. The Emotions of Faeries!

I was dismayed that I missed celebrating J. M. Barrie's birthday on May 9th (he wrote Peter Pan), so I thought we'd celebrate today with a quote from that famous book!

I'm not sure that Ping the faery from Frigg's Journey to Anasgar would appreciate this quote, and we would know because her hair would probably be turning an angry shade of red. She is small but has LOTS of feelings and freely shares them with others!

Book Characters Go to Disneyland!

The characters from my book FRIGG'S JOURNEY TO ANASGAR took a trip to Disneyland this spring! Thanks to my granddaughter Madeline, I have photos of them eating during their adventure! Thank you, Madeline! Where did she get the illustrations for her photoshoot? All of my newsletter subscribers will have access to these illustrations on May 15th in the Nadavir Kids Club. the illustrations come in two different sizes so kids can use them in their own activities, including storytelling, puppet shows, comic books, and of course, photoshoots!
