Writing Cabin in the Woods

Last week I wrote in a cozy cabin near Mt. Hood, Oregon with a good friend. It rained constantly, which kept me at my computer working on revisions to book two in the Chronicles of Nadavir.
The cabin sat close to the ZigZag River, swollen up to its vibrantly green banks with rushing water. There's nothing like nature to get the creative juices flowing, especially when writing fantasy! I think I caught glimpses of my muse leaping among the mossy branches.
