1888 Reading Couch

I want one of these! The lady looks like she's sleeping, but I fall asleep reading all the time. This is "John Carter's Reading Machine" with a lamp, table, & adjustable couch from 1888. Picture from the UK National Archives. Other than the creepy hand holding the lamp, it looks like a fun invention. http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/.../literary-machine/
