Today, I'm Thinking about Castles!

Today, my mind is whisked away to magical realms and enchanting castles!

In my second book of the Chronicles of Nadavir series, I’ve woven a tale that transports us to the faery land of Pixiandria, a place where tiny faeries flit about, their delicate wings shimmering in the sun.
One of my characters embarks on an adventurous visit to a castle. But this isn’t your ordinary castle—it’s a whimsical creation, designed for teeny creatures who fly rather than walk.

I’m pondering the possible delightful details:

• Imagine dainty chairs and tables, suspended mid-air by invisible threads. Tiny cushions for faery bottoms, perhaps adorned with dewdrop embroidery.

• Faeries dine on nectar and ambrosia, sipping from delicate flower cups. Their meals are like miniature feasts, with petals and honey as main courses.

• Faery attire is ethereal—gossamer gowns, spun from moonbeams and stardust. Tiny crowns rest atop their heads, each gemstone reflecting a different hue of the rainbow.

• The faery castle stands atop a toadstool or nestled in a tree, its walls woven from spider silk. Stained glass windows depict scenes of moonlit dances and dragonfly symphonies.

• Beyond the castle, the faery folk live in cozy acorn cottages and leafy hollows. Their homes are snug, with beds made of soft moss and firefly lanterns illuminating the night.

So much to think about! Join me in dreaming of castles and the enchantment they hold. Let me know what you think I should include in my castle!
